Main goal of the project

​

Raising awareness with the general public through sharing information and joint activities with people with disabilities in the area of culture, as well as recognizing their abilities, needs, opportunities and creative talents they possess.

 

Specific goals

• Social inclusion of children with disabilities through special education, aiming at developing their skills and talents through stimulation of all capabilities and appropriate activities in line with their psychophysical characteristics.

 

• Enriching their knowledge about our cultural heritage through visits and other activities.

 

• Acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities for artistic expression.

 

• Developing their creative, perceptive and sensor abilities, empathy, psychomotor techniques and cooperation with friends.

 

• Motivating students in verbal communication for mutual support and cooperation during activities.

 

• Acquiring skills – practical technical abilities in the realization of the art techniques, the technique in the coordination of the art steps, the realization of imitation or illusion of texture…

 

• Listening to different types of chosen sounds of music that would stimulate them and relax them during the process of creation.

 

• Creating an interactive picture book about the cultural amenities in Prilep.

 

• Through the project, 1000 citizens of Prilep will be informed and public awareness will be raised through the distribution of flyers about the realization of the project ‘We, the children with disabilities understand culture too’.

 

• 100 copies of the interactive picture book for children with disabilities, named ‘The colours of culture in the town under Marko’s tower’.

 

• Educated 30 children with disabilities from Prilep and 60 student volunteers from the secondary schools of Prilep, NGO EASP Prilep, and Scout club Phoenix Prilep.

 

• Promoting cultural values, especially when there is a promotion of talented children.
