Youth in action

Name of the project: ‘Youth in action’. Supported by the Agency for Youth and Sport for 2020. Justification: Direct support for vulnerable categories of young people, younger than 29, who are part of the informal economy without an opportunity to benefit from the Government’s measures for financial aid. Specific goal: Mapping/identification of the target group through conducting field research. Creating an informal network people under 29 who work as janitors, seasonal workers and other jobs which are part of the grey economy. Creating technical service for field support, humanitarian help, education and promotion of the Network for young unemployed people under 29. Promotion of the project through creating and distribution of flyers on a local level, web page, creating an address book like a data base for all young people under 29 who are not active job seekers on the labour market. Results: Conducted field research with the purpose of identification of young people under 29 who are part of the grey economy. One active network of young people under 29 who are part of a group of informal janitors, seasonal workers and other workers who work different jobs as part of the grey economy. One active technical support for field support, with a Plan of activities based on the needs of the target group. Informed over 1000 citizen locally about the project through making of flyers, a web page, electronic address book which is going to be used as a data base for these young people with the purpose of direct help and application in the Employment Agency as active job seekers on the labour market.
